ACMA SAVANT

Arts & Communication Magnet Academy, founded in 1992, is an accredited Beaverton School District public school serving approximately 550 students in grades 6 to 12. ACMA is an award winning school of application and draws its students from all areas of Beaverton, to participate in a specialized performing, visual and communication arts integrated program of study. 

 

Savant used to be ACMA's school nespaper that was in print and circulation for many years at the school. However, in 2012, production stopped and the class was no longer offered. Savant had died. But, in 2013, a certain english teacher approached a student and offered up the suggestion of having Savant return as an online venture. Thus almost two years later, this blog was born and here we are today, offering news, reviews and student artwork to the ACMA community.
