Welcome to ACMA Savant!

Hello and welcome to the new and now online ACMA Savant, Arts and Communication Magnet Academy’s student-run newspaper!

We are excited to be able to restart the previously discontinued ACMA Savant as an online platform. We hope this new website will be a great way for you to get to know our school and to present student artwork outside of just the school hallways.

We have a fabulous student staff lined up to write, edit, and photograph for the website, (all of whom you can check out here), and we have some really cool things you can expect to see on here in the near future. To name just a few of those really cool things: a “Humans of New York” type post featuring ACMA students, an advice column run by one of our fantastic staff writers, and 87th Academy Awards coverage by none other than everyone’s favorite Oscar aficionado, Student Body President Jake Schlack.

Our hope with ACMA Savant is that students will have a new platform to be engaged with what is going on at ACMA, and for their artwork to be showcased in a multimedia platform that is visible to the entire student body. So, by all means, share our website with your family, friends, and everyone at school! Submit your art to be featured on our website! Make your voice heard as a member of the student body! Know what is going on in our ACMA community.

I cannot wait to see the work our team of writers, photographers, and editors will produce. I hope you stick with us for the rest of this year, and that you will be just as impressed as I am at the talent and dedication this school fosters.
